Growing Pines Learning Academy offers two programs that run from September-June, as well as an exciting Summer program for the months of July & August. Learn more about our programs and how it benefits families and children below.
Pine Explorers Program
Join us for our Pine Explorers Program from September to June, running Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 1:30pm for children ages 3-5. Our Jr. Kindergarten class offers preschool-like programming and hands-on learning experiences that pertain to our rural communities and lifestyles. We will learn about recycling, composting and its benefits, gardening and plant maintenance, outdoor responsibilities and nature appreciation, attending to smaller livestock (chickens), and learning to develop social emotional skills through outdoor play. We pair these opportunities with an ample amount of outdoor activities that provide sensory, imagination, active play and calmer activities such as reading and art.
Pine Adventurers Play School
This program is from September to June and joins the Pine Explorers program, Monday to Friday, from 9:00am-12:00pm. This program is for children ages 2.5-7, and has a total class size of 8 children. Pine Adventurers is a great way to introduce children to outdoor programming, and allow flexibility for families needing less hours, also for Homeschooled children seeking social activities. Families may choose how many days during the week they want/need. During these hours we include two or three hands-on outdoor play-based learning experiences such as composting, gardening, nature exploring and foraging. We pair these opportunities with an ample amount of outdoor play that provide sensory, imagination, active play, as well as reading and art.
Coniferous Kids- Summer Program
This program is offered through the summer months of July and August for ages 3-12. Programs are each 3 weeks long and run from 9am-2pm. Each program month requires registration to enroll. Specific dates will be posted during registration.
